Default no more axle wrap

Small project that Sureshot and I started last fall.I finally got the bars on his weekend because my truck has been down for a while this winter.I never realized how much axle wrap my truck had.Hopefully this gets rid of it.Not the greatest pics.

Dude your truck is so freaking clean.. Drive the got damnd thing.. LOL.. They should help out a good bit.. I take the chains are for if they break in the front??

Sharpshooter and I made these from metal we bought from a scrap yard, and some heim joints. The brackets were made from pieces of angle iron. We each have $26 in scrap metal and $50 for heim joints, so $76.

Yes, the chains are for a break in the front.

Here are some pics of my set. They are still on my work bench, and haven't been painted yet. I won't be puting these on my truck until I get the 14 bolt swap done.

Wow that looks awesome! How much do you think it helped? what size fabtech lift kit do you have on you truck? what kind of scrap metal did you use on those?
