Got everything tacked up, its going to the welder tomorrow. Still have to plumb in the waste gate and o2 bungs, but I'll do that later. The welder was available tomorrow, so I'm just going to send it as is. Never again will I make pie cuts for something. I will just buy the bends the next time. I've prlly got 10hours in the downpipe.

Got everything back from the welder, still have to plumb in the waste gate and 2 o2 bungs, but I think I've got that under control. Got the oil pan on last night. Planning on the first start this weekend!

That gt45 has a 3.5" v band right? Where did u get the vband at? Youre pretty much building what I had in mind with my nnbs. The 370s at the shop right now and waiting on who can get me the best prices on forged pistons and rods. Subd for results.

A little update. Got my waste gate plumbed, exhaust made, and o2 bungs in. Waiting on an oil dipstic tube from gm. Also picked up a walbro 400 from a member here. I did paint my hotpipes with some BBQ grill paint.

Thanks bud.

Another little update:

Got set back from my previous startup date, because I broke my oil dipstick. Should have one from the junkyard this afternoon. I'm going to jump on everything tonight. I'm a little worried about my waste gate dragging. Its above the tranny cross member, but I'm afraid it might drag on gravel or something of the like. Any ideas would be welcome. I'm kind of thinking about building a skid plate.
