How about some pictures of the downpipe and how you tied in your exhaust. Is the 4" on yet?

still working on tuning... right now its just really fat with very little timing... but I can already tell that this thing is going to SCREAM once its clear for takeoff....

The 4" exhaut isnt on yet. will be next month. one thing at a time LOL...

First 50 mile impression:
I can tell its going to spool this 70mm turbo WAY faster than the 5.3... this motor with more displacement and way better heads moves a ton more air. The low-end grunt this thing has is unreal not to mention how fast it spins up to RPM at just the pat of the throttle... Ive ran it in for 20 minutes, changed the oil, and am now on the first 500 mile oil change and after the 1000ish mark, its time to start easing the boost into her and seeing what its made of.... aside from the shipping FUBAR and the flexplate/crank sensor problems we had on install this thing hasnt failed to impress me. All I can say is Rex... in ~60 miles, you've made me a believer

Brian, Im working on getting the pics transferred for you. We'll get it handled when you have time... rest up and get that hoof better

Idling hot at about 45psi, cruising at around 65... I had to swap the crank sensor out of my old 5.3, then she fired right up, who knows.... Bad sensor?

That seemed like a simple fix.
Are you glad you went to 373? I'm thinking of going down to 373s and staying with the stock size tires.

Who's doing the tuning?

I'm most definitely glad I went from 4.10s to 3.73s...

And I'm doing the tuning

Once everything is broken in ill be taking it down to Flaco to get tuned and get some baseline numbers...

Well, stay tuned for my (re)(re) build thread...

looks like it cooked a bearing, lost oil pressure and the oil looks BAD.... full of copper....
