Default My Project.

I,ve had the truck for 2 yrs and the engine for 4 yrs. Still need to get Inj's,plugs & wires yet. It's a 99 rcsb. Was blue and tough replaced frt fenders, rockers, cab corners and box sides. painted Cortez silver. Interior dirty old blue cloth switched to graphite, leather seats pics dont do the seats any justice. Just need rear window installed and the cabs done. Engine is a 408, TBSS intake, Holley 90mm TB,Kooks 1 7/8 f-body headers, comp cam 281LR HR13 231/239 617/624 113 deg. Heads are 243's p&p. Eagle crank and rods, aries pistons. Have'nt decided if I should use stock rockers or the Crane golds I took off the silverado. Hope to get it done for this summer. Heres some pics.

More pics. I'm looking for a 14 bolt 9" and I should probably get a good strong 4L60. Need to build an exhaust also.

4l60? Why not just go 4l80 and call it a day, especially if your wanting to make more power over time?

Nice truck! What are your goals and future plans with the truck?

I agree with hivelocit. Just get the 4l80e and don't look back.

I am going to go x3 on this as i am sure tons of other people will. The swap is eays and the builds are the same price, if not cheaper.
