well i got to test out the radials this weekend....I was going to the track with a few buddys and it started sprinkiling so they shut the track down. We had done swaped tires and were ready for racing so we went to a local cruise spot and me and my friend with his single cab daytona ram (273 cam, 2200 verter, stock gears, diablo tuned, 100 shot) pulled in on our radials. As soon as we park 2 guys walk up to us and say:
guy-"Whats with the radial? yall race or somethin"
Us- "we were going to the track, and yea we race"
guy- "Oh, you wana run a cobra?
Us- sure whats been done to it
guy- bolt ons,2000 non supercharged
my buddy agrees to run from a dig and roll on motor since his Nitrous noid was sticking
the other guy goes on to talk about his Volkswagon GTI with front mount intercooler, turbo back exhaust and tuned on 19 PSI of boost.....i agree to run him from a roll and dig.
So we cruise out to mexico and first the cobra and ram run from a dig.......cobra pulled about half car and ram stayed with him until he pulled on him and cobra hit his brakes when he was getting pulled.....Ricer move. From a roll the ram just walked away.
I ran the GTI from a 30 roll, he pulled about 3/4 length on the go....then i proceeded to walk away. Same from 60 roll. from a dig he pulled about a car away while i spun a little then hooked and i pulled about half car by 70mph.
we went back to the cruise spot and i asked the dude in the gti if he wanted to turn the boost up.......he said thats all it had! DOH! LOL he said his gears arnt right or his clutch was slipping......yea yea yea.
well anyway....since my rims didnt really match....

i decided to paint them flat black to match my SSS wheels on the front...

also Justin emailed my Cam tune so im thinking about putting it in tonight if the rain slacks up and i got a spot in the shop.

I got a electric cutout and my shift kit to install still.
