My dad bought this truck brand new and he finally gave it to me in 2010 when i got my drivers license. This is how i got it...



Since it had a 350 i started to mod it a little bit, cold air intake,headers,xpipe,4.10s,msd coil pack,chip,tbi spacer.



Then in 2012 i decided to throw some meaty drag radials on it and repaint the truck with a roll pan...










And last year during May, my 350 started to make loud ticking noise...my friend called me if i wanted to buy his engine(98 Ls1)... And the week after the call it was sitting in the back of my truck







Reason my buddy sold me his ls1 is Cause he spun a bearing and he went with a 6.0... That night me and my buddy started taking it apart

 

So after the tear down i took it to the machine shop to get the block cleaned and honed...



Ordered a Ticks Performance SNS Stage 2 cam kit.



So we started the rebuilt!!







Got my computer and tune from tunedbyfrost.com



Wiring harness was custom made from Joe Lopez at Ls performance wiring on Facebook. Great quality for cheap! Also got my longtubes from schoenfeld!











So it was time to take out the old and bring in the new...





















It sat so good in there with the dirty dingo motor mounts.... Started getting my fuel stuff!











Started to get my brackets on there as well...



All this took about 9 months due to money situations but after 9 months she is on the road!







I've had some z06 wheels before i even started the swap so i started to measure them so i can order my adapters... Got a djm 5/6 drop kit as well so it can nsit clean..

It was time for the change...

Also decided to get a ss wing for the truck



I took my front bumper and ss mirrors to get color matched and wing to get painted flatblack...

As soon as i got everything back including wheel adapters i put everything on at once!

And here she is!!!

What you do for tranny?

 

Right now its just my stock 5 speed tranny with a stage 1 clutch...saving up for a t56

 

good lookin ride and nice work with it!! i bought one of the SS wings for my 454ss a while back but have yet to fit it and paint it...haha
