You need different torque plates for different style blocks (sbc, bbc, sbford, GM GenIII, etc.), but you don't need different size bores for those individual blocks...if that answers your question. I'm pretty sure that a 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 torque plate are all the same...

Update:
Few more pics.
Got the other bank of cylinders bored. Re-installed the main studs, caps, torqued them to spec.
Then got the head studs re-installed and the torque plate bolted down for honing.
All ready for finish honing on Monday.

When I bored the block I made two passes on each cylinder, leaving .010'' left to hone out. When I first installed the torque plate I saw that the cylinder bores would vary up to about 0.001'' I left more material in the bores to hone out and just the torque plate then.

Go for a ride in my truck and you'll realize how slow a 362 is and you'll install a stroker rotating assembly right after. Give me the block and you can have my LQ9 shortblock so I can make that nice piece into the stroker it deserves.
