I gotcha. I got that same grille and hood sittin here at te house just waiting to paint. He say how he went about painting that chrome? Did he strip it down or what?

 

im not real sure what steps he took for prep and everything, im just having the bodyshop i use here do it when it comes time for mine

Couple updates...switched out the overhead console gauge pod for one facing towards me. Also installed one above the mirror for the tow bag air pressure and AFR gauge. Nitrous installed and put a microswitch behind the gas pedal. Put the nitrous bottle in my little toolbox and started with a 100 shot. Gonna spray while my tuner looks at it just make sure everything checks out and then going up to 150. Also put ia msd timing twister box.

Well I bought this kit used from a member on here and supposedly it was less than a year old when he originally bought it. So I did something stupid and trusted him and bought it. Well before I installed it I checked over everything and initially the only problem was the gauge was bad and the purge solenoid didn't even work...little aggravated so I msged him and we worked out the gauge but wasn't worried about the purge for I wasn't going to use it. Went and filled the bottle and the valve was bad...getting really pissed now! Anyways worked out some more bugs and then got after it. So 4 days ago from today it started running like **** when I sprayed and come to find out the solenoid stopped working( was about right cuz everything else in the kit was ****)! Well needless to say it started working again...just to well! Here are pics of the aftermath!

Yea......you would be right! Now contemplating what next!? Hoping for insurance to come through too...lol!
