My CrewCab Z
Hey guys never done this before so cut me some slack...lol! I picked this truck up back in May of 2011 and have been doing some random stuff to improve its looks and performance. When I got it the radiator was clogged and the fans were rigged up to a switch by a ...just saying and I kept leavin the damn switch on and killing the battery!. The rotors were warped so badly the truck wobbled all the damn time...lol. Anyways I got some pics of the motor swap me and my buddies did here recently but mainly of just the new motor out and in the truck...so here ya go! I will start taking pics of other things I have done and I will post them too!

I got the wheels from a member on here called ILUVDJM for a great deal and they are awesome...thanks man! The motor is a 05 LQ9 with less than 20,000 miles out of a escalade and with a lot of help from my buddies we threw in a TR 219/230 117lsa cam with pat gold dual valve springs and some hardened pushrods. Upgraded the coils to msd with msd wires and tr6 plugs. Also installed a dual fan controller box from DERALE with a thermostat. Then I put a 09 TBSS intake with the stock 30lb injectors and 87mm throttle body on top...both with adapters from fuelinjectorconnection and torquerush.com. Lets see....oh and I installed pacesetter longtubes and a Circle D stage II 3200 converter! I think that is it right now. Things coming real soon just waiting for them to show up and time are
LC-1 wideband
HSW wet plate kit with interface and 200 shot
ASP underdrive pulley
Performabuilt Stage II 4l60E
Tru Kool Trans Cooler
Suspension I am going down 3 more inches and flipping the rear with tow bags and c notch. I also have powerstop slotted and drilled rotors that I will put on eventually!

The paint is in horrible shape but I am converting the front end to a 06 style with the raised hood and repainting the whole thing the same color...I have all the body parts for the front and I also just got a joe gibbs front bumper from a guy on here along with the billet insert to go in it! Definitlet Hard to come by both!!!

Yeah I'm guessing the guy I got it from pulled the clutch fan and tried to install electric fans but totally rigged the wiring! It was just a on/ off switch mounted in the dash. The wires were just twisted together still exposed! I bought that dual fan controller box from derale on summit and hooked it up right! Put a thermostat and a a/c override on it and it runs flawlessly! And the temp is adjustable
