Well here is the deal I was being an idiot and floored it from a stop at a intersection! I didn't realize there was an extreme dip where one road had been repaved and the other hadn't. So when I was peeling out it slammed into that dip and that's when it blew apart!

Damn truck looks great.. Its a kool and nice idea to put the gagues in the head compartment..But then,I would'nt care to look up at my gauges all the time...My Buddy did that in his 2500 and did'nt like it at all... But keep up with the good work..

Yeah but the one gauge is air pressure for the tow bags which I won't be monitoring all the time and the other is a digital air/ fuel gauge that I can glance at since it's digital and it's not really as far out of the way and hard to read as you would think...thanks for the comments though!

Well I got the replacement driveshaft in last Wednesday. Coming back from the casino wanted to go fast...lol and so at 120mph the second driveshaft decided to blow into two pieces! needless to say I'm having the transfer case rebuilt cuz it's fucked and the adapter between the case and tranny cracked open! Oh...and I had a one piece steel shaft built and speed balanced locally by Stans Powertrain.

Geez, you've had bad luck with driveshafts.. Sounds like you need to get you a 4" steel and be done with it

yea and the best part about it is the turn around! Got the new case in and man what a world of difference! No more drag either!

I had a 3 1/2" steel one made so I should be in good shape now.
