In the above two pics it looked in quite a great condition..i mean the color and the build was just superb..what were the tweaks you were trying to give it according to the pics you posted later.

I don't think you want to mount the turbo solid to the cooler like that. Your engine is going to move and the cooler isn't going to. Something is going to break!

I forgot about that.... maybe just take the one mount off the passenger side and let it pivot from the driver side?

So I flashed my tune in it tonight. But she won't start. Not getting any spark at the plugs. I redid all 3 harness grounds. Still no spark. Checked and I have power to the coils. Still no spark. I'm thinking I painted over the crank sensor terminal plugs when I painted the block. I'll switch the cranks sensor out tomorrow and see what happens. Thing turns over nice almost too fast. Hopefully we have " fire in the hole" tomorrow and hear her rumble.

So after a very frustrating day of dealing with the electrical system (not my favorite)

installed new crank sensor - still no spark

installed another set of coils both sides (round type) and was able to get her to fire up and run very rough at idle. Not sure if it is tune related or electrically related and getting a misfire.

Laptop was dead and couldn't do any efilive logging or DTC troubleshooting with it today.

I my have some sort of electrical issue though.

Anyone know if this way I wired is correct and why I might be popping this fuse.

The truck is wired the following way.

I have a 10 gauge wire with 15amp fuse coming off the back of the alternator that feeds my distribution block for all my other 12V hot wires. (should this wire come straight from the + batt instead?)

2 gauge wire going from + side of batt to starter

10 gauge wire going from larger post on the starter to back of alternator.

Purple wire comes from the stock C10 harness at firewall going to the smaller post on the starter

Truck seems to turn over very fast?

When the fuses kept popping, it also happend to be the same time I had the charger box on the battery, not sure if this is what was killing the fuse or not?
