So I got the Stainless works headers today and I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be...
They are beautiful but they have a lot of the burn threw you get with welding stainless without purge. so I guess I'll be busy with you carbide burr cleaning some of that out. 1 of the things that bugs me the most (and i know it technically doesn't matter) is that the "SW" badge isn't close to straight.
Regardless I am excited as hell to get these things on this weekend!!!
About 7 hours later.... out with the old and in with the new.
Even had my helper
scheduled to have it tuned Monday morning. Right now it runs fine but I'm not even going to smash on it yet. Come Monday I'll have a better idea and some sound clips.
Truck was on the dyno today. Jim @ Cal Speed says these 6.2's usually dyno stock at 360rwhp completely stock. With the long tubes, mufflers and tune it came in at 398rwhp. Hopefully I'll get the dyno sheet tonight and I can post later
