DYNO TIME

91 pump gas
2wd on 26 inch rims.
Top pic is dyno of canned whipple tune vs my buddys tune from matt @gptuning. You can see nice increase of power over across entire curve.

Bottom is gptuning tune vs preblower numbers. I did have afe intake and 3.5 cat back MagnaFlow on pre blower install.

523 rwhp/540 rwtq and vs pre blower pass some parts of power band have over 170 rwhp more and 160 foot pounds torque. Next mod is ARH headers with non catted y pipe. Also it was 74 degrees in shop vs 63 degrees on pre blower dyno.

Overall very happy with the whipple numbers. Going to the track next week. I want to run 12.50s on 26" rims.

the canned tune doesn't look bad

did you lose any warranty going with the custom tune?

Cool. How do you like your z06?

I've been spending a lot of time reading on corvetteforum about the z06 and potential issues. Seems like a very solid car, just dread trying to convince a dealer to sell one to me for what I think I should pay. And used prices haven't quite come down enough yet.

They have the sound flapper valve in the exhaust and i cut it out and woke up the sound a lot. Since I have 1 7/8 long tubes with not cats coming I also ordered the vibrant 17970 resonator. My plan is to put the headers on/then move the magnaflow muffler up more and put the vibrant resonator on behind it then still use the 3.5 resonator that magnaflow put on the in the rear. its only like 6 inches long and if the truck is still to loud ill add another vibrant resonator.

well time to get ready for the non catted arh headers. Picked up a vibrant 3.5" resonator. Hopefully this keeps the sound down a little
