Why are you putting a trailblazer converter in, instead of a 3600-3800?

 

Because as of right now its my only driver and it puts on about 40 miles a day. I sold my other DD so i could get rid of some debt. Thats also why the motor is going in with a stock cam. I'm gonna pay the truck off, then get a different DD, then get me a big *** cam and stall.

 

I got the beast running!!

I ended up putting a Dacco Performance Plus 2800-3200 10" converter in. I love it!

It's real driveable, like I can get up to speed staying under 1500ish. I gotta work some kinks out on the tune yet but at half throttle in overdrive it will flash to 3500!

This thing is gonna flat out launch I ever get some traction! I'm really happy with this thing. I haven't gotten on it to hard yet but it feels every bit as strong as my 5.3 did. We'll see I guess!

Well I ran a new best with my new setup!! (Mods in signature). I was finally able to hit 13's! I ran 4 13.4@99-100's! Best sixty foot was a 1.82. DA was 4500+ feet, 95+ temps, and the track surface temps were 160 plus! All i can say is I'M HAPPY!

sob are you on 4:56s for real???? wow...holy poop! lol i love it. also....get a spec'd cam...im going with a Pat G cam when i decide to recam but on a 113 or a 114 lsa im annoyed with the 112.

Yup, 4.56's! Gears are awesome drivin around, but aren't the greatest for highway lol But the cam will be a while yet. Built tranny and a better brand name converter are first. Me and my brother are spec'n our own cams nowadays, so when i get one it will be bad ***! lol Oh and the wheels are a USwheel - Dune. But those are discontinued, just google search Rockcrusher wheel, same thing.
