My 00 Silverado build
Hey guys I figured I would make a build post since the wife is never interested lol here's a few pics of my Silvy from 3 years ago till now I still have a long ways to go and a lot more $$$ to spend haha.
First day I bought the truck it was so abused no wonder I got a good deal on it lol but I was 15 so I was excited.
6 months later I was already addicted new tires 5% tint and I painted the roof hood and bottom trim myself
All new Moog suspension put in with a Zone 4 inch suspension lift and 2 inch keys later I installed a 3 inch zone body lift as well
As I said it was a neglected truck engine lost all oil pressure at 140k
After breaking it down I found it had bad main bearings but everything else checked clean so I just installed new rods mains and got my heads rebuilt

Ready to drop back in
Well after 6 days I'm ready to put this beast back in, took me about 20 hours most of the days I was just cleaning the engine and engine bay then I had to wait on the machine shop to get done with the black and heads. It has all new bearings from bottom to top, LSX gasket set, Prc 1518 springs, Chromoly hardened push rods, ls2 timing chain, Comp lifters, Comp 212/218 low lift cam, forged dish tops, Mellings hi pressure oil pump, 3 degree angle cut heads, 160* hypertech thermostat, NGK iridim plugs, and its going to be topped off with a ls2 intake, I went with a glass black and silver theme, Here are the pics of the finished products.
