Figured you'd run a better intake that would even out the cylinder airflow better like a carb style intake. --yes,they do work better.

thousands of HP have been made on the stock LSX manifolds. I am sure you know that its older news

The stock style intakes may not be the best for equal fuel distribution on a FI application but if you keep it fat it will work fine. The stock intakes look a lot cleaner for sure. I don't think Mark is trying to compete in any heads up classes or anything where every HP counts with a 6500lb truck.

Actually that wasn't my point except the 6500lb truck will push the intake. The point is that the truck has a big motor with a very nice looking engine bay that looks like no expense has been spared. A nice sheetmetal or powdercoated carb intake would not only benefit the big cubes but also the engine bay looks. That is a big motor to push a small intake on.
