Mark, I debated on even if I should post a reply as I have nothing constructive to add that wasn't covered by others. However, I felt the need to state that I am deeply saddened to see this and will be thinking of you and your family. I can only offer encouragement and support through this and give emphasis to the fact no one was hurt. I know it is clichéd however I need to state it again: Homes and projects can be rebuilt lives cannot.

I am in high spirits that you are already speaking of your next project as an event like this can make even the most dedicated enthusiast look into another hobby. I am sure I speak for everyone when I state we are looking forward to another awesome build thread!

Think positive Mark!!!

I agree with everything he said and today at work I was trying to come up with something creative to say... here it is:

Yes, it's highly unfortunate that this happened but you have to think... What if this had happened before the Truckin' photoshoot or before it was finished and let all that blood, sweat, and tears go unnoticed? I wish you well in your future pursuit of building a badass truck.

I'm extremely sorry for your loss. I know I would probably end up buying a Prius after something like this were to happen to me (I can't believe I just said that.) As everyone has already stated, "You need anything, we're here for you." Good luck and DO NOT give up. Just look where not giving up has gotten you so far. What you did with that Denali is something most people on here can only dream of, myself included.

I hate to ask but did you upgrade your ins policy to cover your mods? Ive been thinking of doing that here lately even though I have no where near the mods into the new truck that you do. Glad you are safe and your furry friends are too I worry about having a fire and not being able to get my pets out safely.

PS you will like the diesel

That was my first thought too. I hope the insurance has no issue's with covering all of that.

would it be his home owners insurance or auto insurance that covers it?

unfortunatly i think Mark was actually just looking in to modifing his insurance so all the custom work on the truck would be covered but i dont think he had it yet, which f*cking sucks. im sure his insurance will cover the Denali but not all the work he put in to it. but blackgmc has a good question about which insurance would actually cover it????

If that is the case, he might be able to get more of the mods covered... I know on my Homeowners insurance I have replacement cost and personal items covered up to a certain amount....

Homeowners will NOT cover a motorized vehicle of any kind, atleast here in TX. My buddies 4wheeler was sitting on his utility trailer in his backyard and the whole damn thing got stolen homeowners covered the trailer but not the 4wheeler, he was out 8 grand on a year old polaris 700. So unless you have a wierd policy that covers a vehicle while it is in your dwelling you are out the money on any additions to the vehicle unless your auto policy covers those mods. Hope to hell Im wrong but thats the way it is here in TX, maybe that'll be another obscure thing about Cali and it will be the exact opposite
