For some reason that gaping cavern in the fender reminds me of an article I read back in the 80s about field testing M1A1 Abrams turbo diesel battle tanks on the Autobahn and the resulting melted Mercedes front ends!

Flaco somewhat recently ran his exhaust out the turbo into the fenderwell, something similar to that

Awesome job man, I like it when people think outside the box like your doing, might not be the most practical thing in the world but it's gonna help make power, be unique and different!

 

alright the engine is being built so everything is tore down to get spruced up. I went with header wrap instead of coating, turned out pretty good. The headers were a pain in the *** though.
By the end of Feb I should have pics with the engine and turbo kit installed.
