Default LS1 Fan harness

Swapping LS1 fans into my truck. Looking to purchase a harness. Nelson Performance sells them and so does LS1Fans,com, anyone have experience with either of them??

It appears that LS1Fans offers a specific harness for the LS F-body camaro/vette fans, whereas
Nelson lists 05 OEM fans and LS fans under same harness. Although I do believe they have different plugs...

Funny I have been searching all day about this and talked to Nelson performance on the phone.
I'm in a 03 silverado and want to do elec. fan swap.
When I get home and measure my radiator (28" or 34") that will make my decision on which fans I'm gonna use 05-07 truck or fbody .
I would like some info on this as we'll . Seems like all the threads are 2012 or older so maybe someone has some updated advice.
The lady with Nelson performance told me 109$ for harness

Mines an 03 also, and I measured my radiator and its the 28. I'd imagine yours is also. I purchased my LS1 fans from a guy on LS1 Tech, only 80 bucks for them with 50k miles.

The install is pretty straight forward, just have to get a tune to enable them to turn on.

Still wondering which harness to get...

How did u measure your radiator?
This may sound simple but when I measure from side to side including the black plastic pieces on booth sides it's right at 34"
When I measure from the inside of the black plastic pieces it's 28"

And I talk to a guy on lsx monsters. He's been running the Nelson harness for a year with no problems

you measure just the metal core. So if you measured 34 from plastic to plastic then thats the 28 inch core.

sounds like a plan.

I'm still confused at how the Nelson harness says it can be for OEM or LS1 fans… I still think they are different plugs...

well I feel stupid. when you go to order from Nelsons you specify which fans you have, thus they offer different harnesses. I was under the impression they offered just one harness.
