Killed my engine, time to upgrade
A couple of months ago me and some friends took out my Chevota, its an 87 toyota 4runner with a sbc 350, turbo 350 trans, 4in suspension lift, 3in body lift on 37in tires mud toy.
Loaded up on the trailer ready to put in the mud:
This ol toy ran better than it ever ran on this day until we decided to try this mud hole:
Earlier in the day we saw a truck just about laying on its side in this very same hole so we said we were going to avoid it. Driving by it right before this happened we saw a couple girls take a barely lifted rcsb chevy right through it no problem. hold my beer watch this! Got pulled out of the hole and it wouldnt crank. Never even bothered messing with it until tonight...
For anyone thats ever wondered, mud does not work as an alternative fuel as you can see here by these sparks plugs
Motor wont turn over even with the biggest breaker bar we could find so I came up with a better idea, why not swap in an LS motor??
Want to keep all the fuel injection on this engine and run the air filter through the firewall into the cab. Have the engine now need a pcm and engine harness along with a lot of time to figure everything out!
