Firewall work, this was done by a friend I just help out...

 

The chassis got all sand blasted and then painted with chassis saver, also I took a plasma cutter and took some weight off the chassis only were I think was save, maybe lost about 50lbs I'll see if it will need some reinforcing ones its up and running but I don't think it will be needed...

 

Here is what has been done to the truck, it already had the wing when I ran the 10.50s then it all came apart...

 

Now this is what we did as for the tubs...

Decided to go with this ones... BUT I'm still thinking if I should go with something else, maybe buy the sheet metal and do them myself??? If anyone has an idea I appreciated the help...



They are already installed but I just don't like them, I don't have pics of them but the reason is that they didn't cover up the whole opening and I don't want to patch up the rest and add more body filler, got plenty already...lol

This is pretty much as its right now...

 

A pic after the cab went into the chassis, install the 383 short block, 80e and driveshaft...

BTW this is velocity yellow...

 

Going back... this is days after I ran the 10.50s when everything started to come off... I just wish I had waited to test from going from 4.10s gears to 4.56s and up the shot...
