I'm curious to see what you think of that cam. Mine was spec'd by btr, and is slightly close to that one. How much lift?

.607/.610
I thought it was a little weird cam for a 408ci motor but i know the dude is highly recommended in cam specing. I told him i was looking for something with some nasty chop. His response was "It will have some chop but we are more concerned about having a cam that's gunna make the power you want." I'm going after 1000+ hp so i couldn't argue with that response.

That isn’t gonna have chop in a 408. It’s a bit odd he chose those valve events, hey whatever.

You dont want "nasty chop" in a turbo cam and expect to make power unless you have a ridiculously oversized track-only turbo. That cam will make great power, but a mild idle.

Some over lap will help with spool and cyl cooling. That cam is -1, personally I would say 3-4 deg overlap would be good.

I tend to agree with that. A couple degrees with an exhaust side as big as you have would have been perfectly fine.

It's a big cam that's going to love RPM. 1000 should be a walk in the park with your combo.

Mine doesn't have alot of chop. Runs ok for what it is. Here is an idle clip right after Richard tuned it.
