Mike got a good idea for you.Get you a stock tb. mount it in the stock location.Get a throttle cable setup from doner truck and tie it into your pedal then to the stock tb.You will have two tb's working together. You may want to unwind the spring on the fast a lil as the pedal will be stiff. This will work and with a little tweaking you can kiss all your tuning issues goodby.

It seems to have. I'll have a better idea in a couple of days.

You mean have the IAC on the stock throttle? How would the air get through the 102 to feed the downstream IAC?

You could keep the blade cracked jus enough but, i guess the would be part of the teaking. The only other issue that would need to be addressed is a possible pressure spike between tb's upon closing the throttle.Might be jus a matter of timing the blades.Idk the particulars to this setup to well.I can tell you i drove around like this for a bit and it worked. The one thing i am not a fan of is the compressor heat soaked compared to my current setup but, it isnt any worse then the original Whipple orientation.

I think that DrX has the ultimate dual-throttle setup.

No trying to get off topic but Mikegyver do you have a link or write up on how you intercooled your whipplecharger?

I enlarged the IAC inlet hole and rounded its knife edge to eliminate the screeching, and the adjustments that I make to the tune make a difference now. Now it where I expected it to be when I started this project. Too bad didn't try Pat's idea of relocating the blower bypass as an individual test instead of combining it with this new TB, I think relocating the bypass would have solved all of the idle problems that my new cam presented.
After today's enlarging the inlet and another "desired idle air" reset, it finally starts and runs from cold, warms up, and stays running when I put it in gear. I just have a couple of little things to fix related to idle air, like cruise controlling, and an occasional surge after stopping. Those should be not too big of a deal now that I have full idle air flow capabilities.

I expect that anybody using this throttle on a bigger than stock, cammed engine would have the same problems.

You think the relocated bypassed helped? I also wonder what it would have done with it being the only variable.

Thanks. They are kind of tight-lipped over there.
