So noone have any info if a 216/222 115+3 would work well for my application with a stock 80e stall?

Found a good deal on a used ls6 cam so I jumped on it... plans are to advance it 4 degrees

decided aginst the iron block 6.2 and bought a 6.0 assembled shortblock instead... shouldnt be long now

If you are still looking at the cam you should really consider a stall. 2800 or so should do well. Anything bigger and I doubt you dad will like it. Daily driving a 3200 typicaly feels like stock but you get into the dirt/mud/hills and that stall is going to require a good deal of go pedal.

A stock cam loves a stall because the LS motors love to spin. Any aftermarket cam is certainly going to be much happier with atleast a mild stall.

went ahead and got the 216/224 .580/.580 114 cam.. plans are to advance it 2 or 4 degrees depending on what my tuner says but ive already talked with chris @ circle d and ill be ordering a 2800 converter so no worries there
