yea I would just rebuild with gen4 piston and rods. hone the cylinders and run it. ive seen some pretty bad cylinders on some ls motors with thrown together parts that ran like hell.

its beyond just honing it the wrist pin did a number on the cylinder 8

been searching around on ls1tech seems with a turbo setup your good to about 1,000 with a stock crank

with a blower its a different story guy was running a F1 setup with a stock crank making about 900 rwhp and bent it

you've gotta figure with all the force on the snout of the crank from the blower even more so with a dedicated drive since it pushes the pulley out even further then a regular 8 rib setup
