Just curious but couldn't you clock the compressor housing 180* so its pointing towards the left side of the engine up top and get rid of that 180* bend in the pipe? Once you go SD like you said, wont have to worry about relocating the MAF.

Sounds awesome

Just coming back to make the point of...

Spools pretty nicely. I posted a video of it in my last post.

I could, but then it would run right into the intake pipe from the intercooler to the throttle body. The turbo sits pretty high...T6s are big turbos

No, it feels exactly the same out of boost. It feels weaker from an idle dig because the 5.3 is powerless to spin the tires with the 80e and 3.73s. Cruising around in vacuum, it still doesn't make power until the gauge swings past 0.

You could add tie bars across the MAF to hold things together.

Thats what I was thinking. Blew it off again tonight. I take it adding tie bars isn't uncommon in boosted MAF setups?

I went through the same problem with the maf blowing off.I ended up driving small screws in to it to help the coupler stay. Its has seen over 20#'s without blowing off.Make sure there is no other forces yanking on it like when the engine shifts at wot.

Hair spray Take the couples apart, clean them up really good, then put some hair spray on everything and put it back together. The hair spray acts like a mild glue and keeps it from blowing a part.

Looks GREAT!!

x2 hair spray works good.

Also you can get some Duramax intercooler couplers/ clamps,

I know there are good for 40 psi without coming off LOL

Glad you got her running, enjoy.
