Look up KBRacing's past threads started, he installed one on his truck a while ago and explains how they work, when they open and everything else. He also sells them too.

So...S475 + quick spool = no turbo lag.

Be interesting to see how well the drivability tune does over a period of time... assuming you (or your tuner) is really using the MAF. I had my MAF in between a 90 and right up next to my throttle body. My tuner didn't like it... and I suppose it showed in the feedback from HP Tuners. That is why I moved my MAF further upstream where I'm told the MAF's really like as much a straight shot before and after for good (flow) drivability. Maybe nowadays its no big deal... really spliting hairs for some(?). But I wanted a focused concentration on the DD portion of the tune and my tuner did not let me down.

Nice setup

I've been spending hours on the MAF calibration so its perfectly set up for the new location. They like at least 8 inches of straight pipe before, but I don't plan on keeping it there long anyway. Gonna be going SD with the new engine.

As far as how it looks....it's my DD and thats the first intake configuration that came to mind, so thats what I went with. I just wanted to get it back on its feet.

I blew the MAF off twice yesterday....getting a little annoying! I am scared to crank it down since its just plastic.
