Default Few much needed upgrades

Well I been pushing the limit of a single intank pump. So I took out my aeromotive 340, I've been having issue with it over heating and it would stop working! It left me on the side of the road many times!
So I ordered a new walbro 400 and picked up a walbro 255 from Andy.
The walbro 400 is my primary pump, and the 255 is set up to a Hobbs switch that's activated at 4psi. I went to a return style system, added -6 feed line, and my factory feed line is now my return line. Aeromotive fuel regulator and ew fuel rails as well. After gettin everything in I had so e issues with leaks on the fittings in the tank. So I've had the bed off a few times the last week lol! Hope to be done messing with my fuel system! I should be capable of supporting what ever my 5.3 can dish out!
Then I took a look at my air filter, and well it was pathetic. Way to small and the rubber was re-formed from the heat and the filter it self seemed to get sucked into the turbo! So I order a 5.5" to 6" silicone elbow, and a 6" filter.
Seems to be a lot better set up. I should of took pix of my fuel set up but I did get one of my filter.

Hope to dyno soon, and new track times will come

Yes, I forgot to mention that, thanks for all the help you have me last couple days haha.
Which filter is scary ? The new or old one.
I'll get a better pic of old one. It's mangled lol
Wish I waited to order the filter until I had the elbow, I could of ordered the 10" long filter instead of a 6" long filter. It's still a 6" inlet filter so should be hell of a lot better.

The old filter.

I shouldve went with something bigger than 4" on mine but that barely fits by the fans so who knows...I take it off when I race anyway.

Watch out for geese with that filter off...the Hudson is a long way from Alabama.

Yeah it was a tight fit, you can see in the pic, where the elbow hits the port on the radiator for the over flow, but it works.

Very nice. I hope that pump works for you. Can't wait to see it back at the track. I'll try and remember my memory card next time. Lol
