Here are a couple new pictures of the air inlet ducting:

How it began:

A 3" 90 degree bend that was sectioned and re-welded:

That morphed into this:

Shot from under the truck. The snorkle exits in the drivers side tow hook hole.

Shot from the front of the truck:

The vertical tube enters the engine bay through the drivers side wheelwell.

Installed in the tow hook hole. I may install a rubber molding around the edge of the tube and/or install a grill of some sort. This tube won't have suction from the blower because the air filter box is also open to the front of the truck.

This is the filter box. The snorkle will attach to the stub at the bottom of the box with a silicon coupler. The box seals to the top of the hood but the front of the box is open to the radiator core support.

Default It's on the road!

Few more details and it will be finished:

3.73 rear gears and posi, windshield wiper motor, replace hood, re-flash a BCM for Tow/Haul, (verify Autotrak, traction control and antilock brakes are working properly), Oil change, front driveshaft, and dynotune at Ed Wright's.

Right now on a base blower tune, it's running 1080's on the o2 sensors, zero knock (Tech II)

I'm hoping that when I put the hood on, it will quiet it down just a little

Without the hood and with the open intake box (which gets sealed with the hood) that little blower is loud!

Sounds and looks beautifull. What hood are you going to run?
