I love the zinc coating on the power stop stuff. I’ll snap a pic of a power stop rotor after sitting 20months, the surface looks like a titanic relic but the hats look fine. Not sure if I should just get the truck moving and brake them clean or trash them since you can’t turn slotted and drilled rotors.

Wouldn’t even bother with powder on a wear item but he told me to bring ‘em on so I won’t argue. Gotta drop a few other little bits off too. I was considering having the new wheels done gloss black, I thought with the chrome caps they would look good but I dig the polished look.

No more bronze and black for this ole girl, bronze is overly played out now but OEM+ never gets old IMO.

I have not been following lately. What was the purpose of getting an H2 rear end?

Everything’s been cut off the H2 axle and the other axle. Just need to clean them up and fit them better before welding them on myself. Not outsourcing booger welds to someone else this time.

Besides price I really want to try an E locker in something.

There is another axle?

Is that H2 rear end as wide as a regular truck rear end?

It's wider I am pretty sure. 68.75 WMS to WMS. Might not be as wide as the 10.5 and 11.5S, but it for sure takes the cake for the widest 9.5

Edit: typical internet. Went to fact checking this and some users are reporting 70.875 for width. I can measure this weekend sometime, unless Dan beats me to it. I have 3 here at the house. #hoarder

I found GM Listed different part numbers for the housings 03-05 Vs. 06-09
12479199 for 2003-2005 Hummer H2
19121939 for 2006-2009 Hummer H2

Only 3? I am down 3 now too but only because I sold one earlier this year... But I have different variations of the 9.5. 1 - 2500 truck, 1 - 2500 suburban, 1 - from an SS/VHO

On the H2 I see 2 different variations between 03-05 and 06-09 I wonder what changed? Did they add wheel speed sensors to the later models?

I have an 07 with speed sensor so that might be it.

I just checked clearance on the 4 piston calipers with the new wheels and they clear so time to order more stuff.
