The 10 bolt had 4.56 gears, at the end of the 1/4 I was out of gear. The one and only half *** decent pass I trapped at 135 a@ 7500rpm.. Truck loses mph after 7300.. Considering the has the potential and will go a lot faster I went with 4.30 gears in the 9". On the street should be able to take more power on the hit.

Thanks guys.

All George is saying is that it's not your typical all bought parts specifically for Gm trucks, it's not a big name motor, big name transmission, power added, chassis shop, or tuned by some famous tuning guru, or so on. Stuff like that I think stuff like that gets more recognition than something way out in left field like mine is.

Blown06 It was nothing against your build or anything, your truck is badass and there's a ton of great information in your thread.

New wheel and tire setup looks sick on there. Im ready to see some pics of the suspension finished out and the bed back on it.

I want to run a 16" section width on my truck this summer so I'm interested to see how much clearance you have to the bed.

Are you running like 3/8" from tire to frame right now?

You could always widen the bed like the baja guys do. Cut the fender wells, press the bedside out an inch or so with a bottle jack and weld some material back into the fender well
