thanks.. no i havent figured out the pressure issue.. i think its the vette filter.. i have an s10 filter, i just need to be able to get the fuel lines off to change it.

Yes Sir it is.I swapped to a different cam (pat g spec),went with the heads in my sig,yella terra rockers. it's been a long process. ended up doing a 4l80 swap,ripped the whole fuel system out and upgraded to 10-an feed and 8-an return,pusher fans behind the grille,A2w intercooler with 10 gal ice box,4" aluminum charge pipe,custom blower bracket for cog setup,it's geting really close though! I will keep you posted.

definately! waiting for the brackets to come back from the powdercoater,and the ice tank should ship out tomorrow or friday,then all I have to do is some wiring,a little plumbing,and weld up the full stainless exhaust and it's light my fire time!

 

well my tranny may be going out.. 408's future is in the balance now..

 

NO WAY! what is going on with it? The 4l80 swap is really not that hard at all Mike! if you get the parts we can do it in a weekend! No more troubles!!! I can make you a crossmember and tranny lines and I have all the spec's for the driveshaft's,and the shop I got them from in St. Charles had them done the SAME DAY! A little wiring and a segment swap and it's all done!

 

brent.. ugh.. would be nice, but i physically cannot lay under the truck anymore.. im going to see a pain doc today. i have degenerative disk disease in my back..so the "we" .. becomes "you" lol.
i got the tranny in the shop now. ill have it back by 5 pm tomorrow.. 3 yr unlimited warranty on it.. after i finish the 408 project, if i find i need more.. then ill talk 80e

 

ok 408 is back on track.. tranny is getting rebuilt.. will be done tomorrow.
trans case is SHOT.. i had a spare. .thank god.. 5 pm tomorrow the BLOO BLURR will be back on the road.
