The shaved intake looks great! DoD delete and cam swap is in my near future on my 2013 truck. I am going with something a bit more rowdy on the cam and a stall.
Actually just found me a ls6 cam and I’m going with that. So I have a ls1 cam for back up or just to have and the Ls9 will go in something light and fast
Went from a 4 bolt NNBS intake to a smaller 3 bolt NBS style??
yea looks cooler and they don’t flow much different. And i might shave this stock nnbs one if I can’t sell it then run that. But I’m not looking for track numbers here I’m looking for a nice truck that hauls *** and you don’t see many turbod 5.3
Well those of you doing the dod swap you need lifter traysthat have the slot on one side. I don’t have a part number as I lm going to call my local Cadillac gm parts and see if they have them. But if you look at the afm lifter trays or the block. One side of the lifter trays has a notch and the trays I have are flat and won’t sit right. So now I have to go get the right lifter trays and I’ll post back with part number and pics

Thanks I know it’s not perfect but it’s close and the angel is correct and the distance between top of head to head and bottom to bottom of the heads are same distance as if they were mounted to the block. Just strut from my job lol
