Yea, I frequent yellowbullet as much as here. Good site indeed. Since I'm staying with gas the BS3 shouldn't cost much more than $3000 with the crank trigger. And yes, I'm gonna fab up some sort of crank support that will mount to the motor plate.

Hey Jason, whats the status on your stuff?

 

I tried to join YB, but I got a message saying they aren't accepting new members? It was a couple months ago, kinda strange. I wanted to join so I could use the search, try to figure out a couple of things.

 

I will be home 1 Nov to finish up a couple of odds and ends. Got a new intake and a boost controller. I hope to get it down the track at least one time before I have to come back. I will be home for good next June. I hope next year out builds will be finished so we can start going to some events. A lot of killer trucks out here now.

 

Truck is loaded up. Heading out to madmans in the morning. Got my BS3 stuff this week too.

Got some pics from Madman. He's doing a motor plate and mid plate, radiator, reinforcing the blower bracket (integrating it into the motor plate), mounting the intercooler...

Here is the mockup of the radiator and getting templates made for the motor plate. Intercooler is getting mounted next to the radiator.

 

That's some awesome fab work! The truck is getting closer and closer!

 

man that rad is a great idea for running a nasty single turbo. just place it to the other side. I'm sure its sufficient enough for street use no?
