shooting clays is good stuff, I have a buddy that competed quite a bit until a few years ago. Watching him shoot when we go white wing hunting is just ridiculous. He had to hang it up due to lack of funds.

I've also been persuing another hobby that has grown quite expensive. I've been shooting sporting clays and skeet most of my life but about 5 months ago I started getting serious with it and started competeing in NSCA tournaments. Its been fun, but I've spent nearly $6000 in the last 3 months alone doing this. I'm gonna do one more tourny in two weeks and then I'm gonna hang it up till the truck is back up and running. I needed a break.
Shooting clays is fun, but it is expensive. Sharpshooter and I used to shoot every sunday. Then, the price of shells doubled, and the fees at the course went up, so we haven't been in a while now. I can't wait to see the truck finished up though!

I know what yall mean. The entry fee for the last tournament I'm doing is $430! Thats a 100 shot preliminary and a 200 shot main event and a golf cart rental (no way to walk it at tournament pace). Factor in $8 for a box of 25 shells and that comes to $526 or about $1.75 everytime I pull the trigger. It's actually very ridiculous.
