Blown06-New Build: Cage, 4-Link, Cog Drive, + Too Much More
#402
Finally had some time to work on this thing and made some decent progress. I have completely done away with the factory wiring and am rewiring the entire truck old school, no more BCM! Here are the pics
door switch delete panels with new window switches (manual locks and mirrors)
driver door harness
passenger door
driver door
headlight harness
rear light, fuel pump and intercooler pump harness
trans harness
this is the trans and rear harness coming up the fire wall
engine harness (crank, cam and coolant temp sensors)
working the intake harness
this is the finished intake harness (IAT, 3-bar MAP, IAC, TPS, Injectors, Coils). The goal here was to be able to remove the intake as a complete unit only having to unplug three plugs at the pcm, two hot wires for the injectors and coils and a ground.
here is a pic of the engine and trans completely wired less the water pump and fans which will be on their own harness
trial fitting the F2, this thing is freaking huge
thats all for now. Its been a little slow but I think it will turn out pretty nice when its done. Basically I'm getting everything mocked up and then I'll take it apart and clean before final assembly.
You can barely see it in the pics but I'm making a panel that goes above the relocated PCM that will have the Versafueler and engine related relays and fuse panel on it. The panel is 6160 aluminum, but I have black tape over it right now to protect it. Final assembly it will be polished.

I can't begin to express how impressed I am with your knowledge and work on this project. I'm also just green with envy wishing I had your knowledge and patience... not to mention your youth! (I'm 68! Everything below 50 is "youth")
