I tried the big Magnaflows. Sounded good until a couple of WOT blasts blew the packing out of them.

 

That is kinda funny. You are making a lot more power than me so hopefully i will be ok.

 

You might do the same, mine got louder too and the packing was coming out the tail pipes. The resonators you picked will help with the raspy sound alot.

How does this thing sound, any video's..? I'm curious, i called magnaflow about quieting the 12589 mufflers down and i was told to use the 6 inch round mufflers up front after the x-pipe.

 

So i have started working on my new exhaust. I got the 2in fbody headers installed.

This is a basic layout of the exhaust











I got tge xpipe built. Kind of a pain but turned out decent. These new headers come really far back.

 

let me know when you're ready to change your exhaust again. I'll buy that exhaust setup from you. 6 mufflers?
