I am not sure which two ports on the FPR the port measures pressure, but I could see it always telling you the pressure is good no matter what if it measures between the FPR and the pumps. What you really want is to make sure its good at the rails, not necessarily the regulator.

The thing about PCV...when you need it the most, is exactly when you have it setup not to do anything at all; under boost. The pressure between the filter and turbo will always be lower than atmospheric. How you have it now that line will only do anything at part throttle (no boost). When you a crankcase vent the most (under boost) you have it blocked off.

I got the y fitting and hose from below. I got the crush clamps at home depot in the plumbing pex section

I have my fuel pressure sending unit for my electric gauge attached to the passenger side fuel rail.

Whats wrong with my pcv setup? I have it setup to work only in non-boost conditions. Are you saying i am honna pressurize the crankcase when it goes into boost, meaning blowing past the rings?

So would removing the check valve attached to the intake fix that condition?

Nice build Corey.

I can't recall your exact engine specs but don't you have a set of shaved 243s?

Engines always have some amount of blow by. Under boost, you are pressurizing the crankcase, to some degree, for the same reason you have any blow by. When you dont give that air anywhere to go, its going to go somewhere, like start pushing out seals and the oil dipstick.

I would personally put breathers on both valve covers and call it good. Unless you want to replace the rear main sometime.

Cool. I got a little breather and i can go buy another one tomorrow. I just disnt want to deal with the oil smell. If it does smell great, if it does i will look into somehing else.
