Got tired of getting kicked out of the track due to no roll cage. I sold the whole setup a couple years back and parked the truck, now i started the new build,but this time started with the saftey equipment first. Here are some slow progress pics.

Nothing fancy for now just a stock 5.3 with a super vic intake and a front mount and a built 4l80e , once i do suspension and diff. I will Install the bigger stuff. Going to practice f/i tunning with the 5.3.

 

woops.. i was a lil off..

Good idea on the 5.3 and learning how to tune.. should have a good idea of how everything works with a cheap engine and then carry over everyting you have learned to the built engine..
