Luke ... All the cut ones I have seen look like crap, but, I must admit the ones in those pictures look great.

John ... just remember, if you cut, you get one chance to do it right. I would suggest multiple cuts getting closer and closer the the final cut. In my opinion, a band saw would be the way I would try the "cut method". I have seen some Dremel attempts ... when I say attempts, they were attempts! THey looked pretty bad.

Luke ... by the way, nice looking truck. I too plan to remove my door trim as well. Did you use dental floss?? That is going to my attempt to remove them.

I got it for $275 + $90 shipping. I will be interested to see what you end up spending on your install. I only had to pay the $4 for the color coordinated plugs for the sides from the dealer and that was with a "good guy" discount!

Well so far I have 175 in the complete console..I was in the same boat, was not going to spend 300+ on one. I might have one of them dash parts on line, but havn't heard back from the guy.. I have 140 into the denali trim pads.. I feel I can sell the trim parts, sub, amp radio, drink tray off the console. I am also making a face plate now so that I can put my gauges in there.. Should be able to sell my stock flip up seat/console, recoupe most of my loss.. As far as cutting go's I have no problem doing it.. I have a good bit of exp fabbing( mostly metal working) but this should be a breeze.. I will do the cutting with a cut off wheel, then file the edge. Should turn out nice.. This is my interior now, So I feel the gauges in the console will look nothing less then great.. Thanks for the pics. I might just keep the pieces on there, not worry about getting the smooth ones.. Thank you for the pics.
