I bought this truck from my grandfather about a year and a half ago bone stock... well pop fell sick and after thinking on it I decided this is probably the last truck ill ever buy from him I knew it would be a keeper.. it started of as a bone stock 98 c1500 2wd

first thing I did was lower it with a 5/7 drop did the normally exhaust tint etc... after about 8 months motor decided it didn't want to be with us anymore. so I tossed the idea around to leave it stock or even do a 5.3 swap... well I decided on the 5.3.... well one thing lead to another and I picked up a lq4... after inspecting it it had to be gone threw so I sent it off to the local machine shop

while it was at the machine shop I picked up some 243 heads ordered a custom tick cam kit decided to do some arp bolts and nitrous filed the rings..... you know since this started out as a quick stock 5.3 swap

the 93 has been done for over and year and is a absolute blast for being such a simple setup, its basically a stock truck and I love to mess with the local Hondas and diesels
