removed mostly non factory items in this round; the rear towing bumper and overload spring pack are gone! and then just got some general cleaning/assessing on the chassis accomplished, sprayed penetrating oil on just about every bolt I came in contact with......also got rid of some non factory wiring (although there appears to be alot more non factory **** under the dash) dodged a few black widows and even vacuumed a birds nest or three, lol, never fails!

 

looks like this little slice of heaven is what's considered the Heavy Half or Big Ten, GM's trick to keep catalytic converters and other smog equipment off these trucks juuuust a little longer:

these brackets show a little extra bracing on the leaf spring hangers not found on standard 1/2 tons

 

look at these beauties, this will make going from a long bed to a short bed MUCH easier for the frame side of things!
