Default Alrite trying to figure out wich engine to swap in?

Alrite ive finally come down to the end of my stages in the swap and am ready to drop in the engine,,,but i have come across an ls1 that is complete intake to oil pan with wiring harness that i wouldnt mind dropping in front of my 4l80..would it be worth it??? also found another lq9 that is complete from intake to oil pan and am kinda wanting to buy it for the fact that while i have the truck running with my original lq4 that is completely gone thru and rebuilt and just build the lq9 as my forged block for now...? im a very picky person and am wondering if i should just stick with my original lq4 since its basically new again or go a lil more the ls1 route? i know as far as hp/tq the lq4 will have more tq the only advantage i can find rite now..rite now just undecided...ne info will help...

Keep what you already have.... Lq9 isn't worth the money for the small increase in power. Ls1, dont even think about it.

I agree. just mod your lq4. There's no reason to spend money buying another engine when you already have one that is capable of producing some damn good power. Put a cam, headers and tune on it and then if you decide you want NEWER just buy a bare block and slowly build it or if you have the money buy a short block from Texas Speed and throw it in using your current parts.

oh ok i got wut yall mean...i dnt know y im so undecisive at times...as far as building sumthing from the ground up i think a cammed ls3 or cammed ls7 would be a nice extremely long build...altho well worth a hell of a daily driver...and would be the first obs gmc ecsb with an ls3 swap also...who knows maybe one day unless i come across an ls3 longblock for a good enough deal...lq4 definitely worth it...case closed thx for the input on my retarded question...

Pretty sure people have already done both of those swaps. The cheapest route for power is to get a 6.0 block and build a 370 or 408. However since you have a 6.0 already you can just mod it and get more than enough power to make you happy.
