started the tear down yesterday on my lq4 that i'm trading for my 4.8 motor turned SMOOTH before i pulled it apart there was 204,xxx on the clock when i pulled it and this does NOT look like a 200k mile motor
Plans:
Eagle Forged 408 Rotating Assmbly.
Magnuson Blower haven't decided how big yet
Meth. Inj.
Haven't decided on Heads, Cam, or Rest of Valvetrain yet
Probably Doug Thorly long tubes & of course ORY
which in turn means i'll need to get rid of the nvg3500 & go with the t-56
here's some pics of the block after i got the pistons & heads off

now i will say this is going to be my first build ever...ALLLLLLLL input is welcome...good & bad....what i need to know now is...are there any tricks to getting the crank bolt out? i had the socket on there & i had the crank positioned to where it wouldn't spin...had an impact on there tried my damdest to get it off still no luck...like i said ALL input welcome
THANKS!
