still need to figure out if a fuel cell from DB rods and minis is gonna work the best or what. Going to go ahead and put 4:10 gears and locker in the rear end while its out.

some, its going pretty slow, I just got in my detroit locker and my gears are on the way. Trying to work something out with DBRods to get a custom fuel cell on the way also.

Gonna try to get the rear end set up and then it'll be going again.

 

Looks good on other forums people really against the way I did short be conversion. happy to see that's good enough for you

 

Thanks man. I'm just kinda sitting still at this point, gathering parts and trying to get some other stuff finished. I'm in no big hurry to finish.

 

interested to see how it turns out! I recently picked up a 99 v6 regular cab long bed 2wd that had a rod knock for $500 I wanna build into a street strip truck and cant decide to shorten it like you are or just spend the money and back half it with a 4link

 

I wish I had updates, still waiting on Jon to come through with my fuel cell at DBRods, should be here next week sometime.

 

Picked up a 5.3 yesterday for $350 bucks.
