Default 98 block

Can I use a 98 block in a 94 truck ( 8th digit K ). The 98 block is already ready to build. Also how about the 94 heads etc. All help appreciated. Wayne

The 98 block will be a roller, the 94 heads will fit but there is no coolant cross over setup in the block which WILL need to be addressed or you will run into cooling issues on a street truck. Most people go the other way, newer Vortec heads on the old school blocks, same deal with the coolant passages though ...
