97 Suburaban 5.3L LM7 swap

are you trying to use the stock tranny and tcase? i think you can for 96+ 4l60e. but if yours is broken and fallen apart i dont know what you would want to do. you could get a new 97 4l60e or try to find a new 4l60e made for the LS. although i am not sure of the size in terms of length and such between the 2. so i dont know if any extra work would have to be done to make driveshafts work.

I am back at it again after all of the holiday fun. I am trying to sort out the wiring. I have been using LT1swap.com for the L59 harness. I am finding that it isn't complete and is leaving out details that are holding me up.
Is there a better guide for the harness rewire?
Is there something that shows me what each connector belongs to?
I am completely lost on what to do with the wiring in the truck itself. I know that I need some of it to run abs, speedo, ect... I am not good with wiring and would like as much help as possible. If there is anyone that has done this swap or if any of you know someone please post up or direct them to my thread.
I have very limited time and money. I cannot pay someone to do this, so I have to figure out how to do it on my own. Please help if you can. Thank you all for your help and comments so far.

Here are some links I collected a couple years ago when I was planning for this same swap. I ended up buying an 01 Suburban instead, so I never did the swap. Hope this helps.

Got more wiring done today. I am doing a wire tuck while I have the harness apart. I love the way it looks now without the huge packs of wiring running over the intake.
I am still taking pictures, so once I am done I will post a large update. I would like to make a how to on this build as well. That way it is easier for others because this wiring is not fun.
I am still trying to figure out were some of these wires go, so hopefully it all comes together.

I am still slowly working on this wiring. This is the first time I have ever really done this much wiring, so I have to take my time.
I do want to point out that I have had a lot of help from S&P and LT1swap.com folks. Also people on this forum with comments and info on the site. Thank you
I ordered the fuel lines from S&P and still on the hunt for a few other parts. Like a 5 pin truck MAF and a DBC throttle body with sensors. I also have no idea where the bolts for the valve train went, so I will have to buy new. I also am going to need 99 truck rad hoses, fluids, ECT sensor, CMP sensor, and mic hardware for wiring routing.
All and all the swap is almost complete. Once I get all of the wiring done, I am going to put oil in and do a test fire before the final fitment. After that get it all chinched up for a test run. Hopefully there will be more snow for some 4x4 fun after working out all the kinks and putting on a new exhaust. I am going to do that myself since I can't seem to get a good deal on exhaust.
