Having a garage is pretty nice... time for a full rear tear down and rebuild.

Pipe stands actually, they are a godsend when you have this much travel.

All the suspension on the rear will be coming off. Going to rebuild shocks, new heims and bushings for the links. New hardware, pulling the 3rd and have it checked, new axle to replace the bent one on the passenger side and think everything will get some new powdercoat.

Oh, and the pipestands that are in the picture are rated at 2500lbs each.

Been slowly stripping everything off the rear end over the last couple nights... now I am at the point of needing to spend money, so progress will slow a little. Trying to avoid dipping into my savings as much as possible.

Well got all the new heims and bushings, had everything powder coated, got everything back on. And now attempting my first shock rebuild/revalve, with the help of Kevin, so far it has been a pretty smooth process. Just need to order 3 more tires and I can get it back on the road and find some dirt.
