Default '97 Silverado Prerunner/Play

And here is my money pit... '97 Silverado that I have owned since I was 19, so almost 12 years. Bought it thinking I knew what I was getting into, that was a huge mistake...but I have learned a lot and made a lot of great friends in the desert racing scene.

So.... here goes nothing!!

start with a couple older ones, to see where it was, and where it is now....

Love it. I want a prerunner style truck so bad. I have dreams of a danger ranger one.

Start saving.... sometimes even used parts can get expensive, but you can definitely find the deals. Looking at your location, I think the hardest part would be getting a private seller to ship. You could always find an abandoned project for cheap sometimes. And Rangers are definitely easier to build, there is a ton of companies out there that make parts for them (suspension wise).

Forgot I had a short video clip. Shocks need tuning and yes... I lost a tail light (saw it as it fell off).

Where at in TX? Been thinking about going this route with my 96 crew cab, would love to see your truck in person if you're close to the Fort Worth area.

I am on the East side of Dallas. I need to pull the steering box out and send it off for rebuild/beefing up to get ready for ram assist. So it would have to be sometime after that.

Cool. I'm in North Fort Worth, a few miles south of the speedway.
