Like George said, The Buick GN's and T-Type Regals are like this. I've built hundreds of kits like this.

so i got most of the motor torn down this evening and i'm pretty sure my DBW motor is a 2003 model. My casting# 12567393. with that being said i've got several questions but will take one step at a time. So my FPR is located on the fuel rail and has a return line. what is this 3rd line for that comes off of a solenoid looking module behind the DBW.

Thanks for the reply. I hope I can do away with a lot of that crap. What about the coolant hose that comes of the back of the intake? What are you guys doing with that?

not sure what coolant hose would be back there...is it the vacuum hose that goes to the brake booster?

i guess a one way check valve would work ok on the brake booster? since the truck pulls a vacuum at idle?

Default fuel

what is your opinion of using the stock fuel rails. I guess my biggest question is what do you do with the stock FPR on the rail? or would i have to change out the rails entirely and do an aftermarket FPR and return? Sorry to be such a newb but there are a million different ways i have read about this being done and i want it to be right the first time.
